Press briefing

Media are invited to a press briefing that will take place at the Main Press Centre on June 18, 11:00 - 11:40.

Press Attaches Briefing

Press Attaches Briefing will take place at the Athletes Village (Building 3, 3rd Floor, Bookable Meeting Room).

Athletes Village media tour

As part of the media tour, you will see the main venues of the Athletes Village: accreditation centre, medical clinic, Belarusian cultural centre, cafeteria, stadium, welcome centre, service centre, and flag alley. There might be changes made to the programme.

Access to the Village territory will be granted only with accreditation to the Minsk 2019 European Games and an additional media tour pass. The passes will be available for pick up at the media centre in the Athletes Village before the start of the media tour for the media representatives who have filled out a registration form in advance at https://forms.gle/4jvYZuUHwYUv1k526.

Please note that media representatives will not be able to interview athletes during the media tour.

Official Minsk 2019 Opening Press Conference

Press conference on the final preparation and holding of the 2nd European Games. Speakers include the Chair of the Coordination Commission of the 2nd European Games Spyros Capralos, Executive Director of the European Games Simon Clegg, Chief Executive Officer of the Minsk European Games Organising Committee George Katulin and Minister of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Kovalchuk.

Photo briefing

The Photographers Briefing will be held on 20th of June at 13:00 in the Conference Room of the Main Media Centre. It is strongly recommended that you attend it as it will give you a greater understanding of the services and facilities that are available to you and will also expand on some of the simple ground rules. Photographers bibs will be distributed after the briefing.

 

ENR briefing

The ENR Briefing will be held on 20th of June at 13:50 in the Conference Room of the Main Media Centre. It is strongly recommended that you attend it as it will give you a greater understanding of the services and facilities that are available to you and will also give you understanding of the News Access Rule. ENR bibs will be distributed after the briefing.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian Judo Federation and Judo Federation of Serbia will be held in Chizhovka-Arena

On 23th of June during the II European Games – the European judo championship is planned to sign a Memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian Judo Federation and Judo Federation of Serbia.

The ceremony will be attended by the Minister of sport and tourism of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Kovalchuk and the President of European Judo Union Sergei Soloveichuk
