Minsk is ready to host the HEMA project as part of MINSK 2019 cultural programme

This Friday, 26 April, we will see the official opening of the "European Martial Arts. From Vulcan’s Forge to the Arts of Mars" exhibition. The event will launch the cultural programme of the 2nd European Games MINSK 2019.

The exhibition will operate until 15 September 2019.

The Directorate of the 2nd European Games will hold a press-conference dedicated to the official opening of the exhibition prior to the ceremony (address: 15 Svobody Square). 

The international conference "Pax Militaris: People, Weaponry, Fortifications (from Antiquity to the Early 19th Century)" will be held on 25-26 April 2019 as part of the exhibition. The conference is co-organised by the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. It will be attended by eminent historians from Europe (Italy, UK, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, etc.) and Asia.

Organised by: Foundation "Directorate of the 2nd European Games 2019", Minsk City Executive Committee, BelGosStrakh, the Embassy of Italy to Belarus, the Embassy of Belarus to Italy, the Italian Association for Master-at-Arms and the Museum of Martial Arts (Italy).
