On October 8, a cooperation agreement was signed at the Synesis Sport headquarters between Synesis Sport and MicroPlus, the Italian company selected to provide data processing and timing services to the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019.
MicroPlus was appointed due to its extensive experience in supporting sport events, successfully meeting the requirements of both International and European federations, their ability to provide all of the necessary equipment for scoring and the capability of integrating the data within the official website of the European Games and the EMS Synesis platform.
“We are pleased to have signed this agreement eight months before the start of the 2nd European Games,” said Dmitry Shvedko, Director of Synesis Sport. “Next year’s event is the most significant sports event Belarus has ever hosted and an advanced level of technological expertise is our common goal. The more time we have to prepare, the less risks we are going to face!"
Since its establishment in 2000, MicroPlus has provided its services to dozens of sports events, such as the 2017 4th Islamic Solidarity Games (AZE) and the 2018 European Aquatics Championships in Glasgow (UK). The global goal of the collaboration between Synesis Sport and Microplus is to provide the highest level of service to all the participants of the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019.
