Sixteen of the largest taxi dispatching services in Belarus signed a memorandum in which they agree to provide guaranteed tariffs for passengers during the 2nd European Games. 

In accordance with the memorandum, those taxi companies will keep the prices for their services from June 15 to July 5, 2019 at the same level as they were as of April 1, 2019. The list of the companies that signed the memorandum is published on the official website of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of Belarus. 

For its part, the Ministry will provide each of these taxi companies with a logo that they can display on their vehicles during the 2nd European Games. 

For passengers, the logo will be a way to quickly identify if a taxi is participating in the memorandum and guarantees protections against unscrupulous price practices, while for the taxi, this logo will be an indicator of its social responsibility and conscientious behavior on the market.

The memorandum on guaranteed tariffs for passenger taxi services during the 2nd European Games was signed between MART, the capital city’s taxi dispatching services, the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Minsk City Executive Committee on November 2, 2018. Signing the memorandum is voluntary.
