The Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War History is one of the largest world museums dedicated to World War II. The first items for its collection were picked up as early as 1942.
The new building of the museum was opened in 2014 on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus and now houses more than 8,000 exhibits on 3,000m2. The museum is situated on Pobediteley Avenue near the Minsk – Hero City Stella and the Victory Park.

Closed on Mondays and public holidays.
On holiday eve the museum and ticket office close at 17.00 and 16.30 respectively.
