The European Athletics Executive Board has decided to use the ranking after the 2017 European Athletics Team championships to choose 30 (23 sportsmen in which one) teams which are qualified for the 2nd European Games. The spectacular DINAMO stadium will be the setting for the competition in Minsk 2019 as a tournament format of 2-hour team matches with a qualification of the best 6 teams to meet in a final match for the gold medal. Besides that, the 10 men’s, women’s and mixed athletics event share intended to be held as they chase for gold, silver and bronze medals in a final match.
